215 Fest

So we tabled at the small press/book arts thingy at the 215 Festival today.

Total bust.

There could not have been more than 20 people that came thru. And we were there for MANY hours.

I got to wear my new long-arm stapler shirt. Even tho it was totally wasted on all the not showing up peoples. I shall wear it again anyway, because whatever. And also it is cute, and expresses my total love for long-arm staplers.

The one chick who bought a copy of Revelations seemed pretty excited about it, so that's something.

I swear, you guys, a poetry reading broke out, so we were forced to flee. But, there was a local printer there. Our last experience with a printer was so FILLED with SUCKING, so if we can get a decently priced new printer out of this I consider it not wasted time.

And they were letting people play with the letterpress printer, which I loved.

Stuff

There's some new and exciting stuff going on behind the scenes at Sugar and Spite, so I've been busy.

Plus, this is the last, oh I'm busy so sorry for the infrequent posting. Posting will probably be pretty infrequent. And sporadic and other words that mean not on a schedule.

Keeping the comics and the store and the craft shows all going is a lot of work.

And Stupid Palin woman DID get totally booed at the Flyers game, so YAY.

I take it back. Sarah Palin dropping the first puck at the Flyers game is going to RULE.

Why the change of heart, you ask?

Well, I remembered that Flyers fans like to boo things. Like Santa and small children. And that the last time McCain was here in the Reading Market, people were totally shouting at him that he sucked.

So I think it's pretty likely that she will get totally booed. And that would be really funny, cause she thinks she like, owns hockey or something. Well, she sure as shit doesn't own hockey in Philly.

BOOO!

You guys, there's nothing in the world like thousands of people booing and chanting "Asshole". I heart you, Philly.

Not surprising as he doesn't know how many houses he owns.

Camera

Ok, so apparently the camera does need magical space batteries.

I still like my instant Polaroid better.

Grr

Well, on the good side, I am off work today. Obviously, since I am blogging. And at work I barely have time to breathe, much less fart around on blogger.

Anyway, my digital camera is broken. I called them and supposedly it may start working again if I get special batteries for it. Which I didn't know about because no one told me.

I hate digital cameras anyway. I like my old Polaroid. But I can't run the Etsy store without a stupid digital camera. So if the magical batteries don't work, I will have an expensive thing to throw at a wall. Cause I don't have the box or the receipt or anything cause it was a present from last year. And I will borrow Mik's camera to take pictures for the store, I suppose.

Changes are in the works

I'm starting a new blog, or moving my bloggy thoughts from the main Sugar and Spite webpage to a more contained space.

So I will continue to blog, but just here rather than there. And maybe a little more frequently, cause I shouldn't be quite so jammed up.

I'll be migrating my old stuff from the S&S webpage over here. Slowly.
